Community has a good time at the Hoo Hoo Fest

Honour Wrestling Association gave the audience a mind-blowing wrestling show.

Yet another successful Hoo Hoo Festival was held on Saturday, 4 May. The event was hosted by Leandra Estates to raise funds for crime victim empowerment.

The community came out in numbers to support the event that was held at Trezona Park on Jan Hofmeyr Avenue. They were not disappointed as they were spoilt for choice with a large variety of stalls selling food, drinks, accessories, home utensils, books, cloths, sweets and other merchandise.

Children also had various activities to keep them busy, including taking rides on a train, jumping castles and other entertainment.

Bands and artists, such as Sorina aka Die Flooze, Pieter Smith, Bibi, and Burglar’s Dog provided the live entertainment. To keep the crowd entertained, there were also shows by Klikkerland and an exhibition from Hero Toys. The wrestlers from Honour Wrestling Association put on a mind-blowing wrestling show.

“I am very happy with the amount of support we received from the community with every Hoo Hoo Festival we have hosted. The proceeds from this festival really help us make a positive impact in the community,” Leandra van Wyk said.
