Florida preschool gives back to the community

One lucky learner won a year’s free education

One lucky preschool child has become the recipient of a year’s worth of free education, courtesy of Kimbeez Educare, a preschool in Florida.

Simone Carolus, co-owner of the preschool, explained, “Kimbeez has been running for the past 10 years under the management of a mother and daughter team, Simone and Noeline Carolus. Education is very important to us, and we are determined to ensure every learner enrolled with us will be equipped with the best foundation possible before they are sent off to primary school. But, we also believe in giving back to the community, and, with the opening of our new branch in Florida, we decided to give away one year’s free education to one of our learners.”

The draw took place at the school premises, and excited parents and learners gathered over hot cups of coffee and tea and cookies, excitedly waiting for the big draw to take place.

Before the main draw took place, there was a draw to see who the lucky winner of the raffle was. Lerato Mosimane, one of the parents, was overwhelmed when she was the lucky recipient of the hamper filled with delicious goodies.

Azaiya Jacobs was the lucky learner who received the big prize of one year’s free education.
