Residents of Roodepoort are urged to attend a public meeting with regards to the construction of a bridge on South Road in Lindhaven as well as the appointment of a Community Liaison Officer (CLO).
This comes after a meeting that Ward 71 councillor, Renè Benjamin had with the Johannesburg Road Agency, Econocom (the consultant), the Regional Director’s office as well as the contractor.

The public meeting will be held on Thursday, 2 May and will start at 6pm in Hoërskool Die Adelaar’s hall, corner Vermooten and South Roads, Princess.
Applications for the CLO position can be submitted until Saturday, 4 May at 2pm.
Applicants must reside in Ward 71, and proof of residence as well as a clear copy of their ID must be included with their CV.
Applications must be dropped off at the ground floor of the Civic Centre, 100 Christiaan de Wet Road, Florida Park.
