The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department’s (JMPD) K9 unity arrested four suspects in Roodepoort on Saturday, 30 March.
The suspects (three men and a woman) were arrested on charges of armed robbery and possession of unlicensed firearms.
It is alleged that they robbed three men of their cellphones, money and sneakers, as well as one female of her handbag containing a cellphone, jewellery and money.
This formed part of the JMPD’s ongoing Buya Mthetho campaign.
