Another truck crash on William Nicol Drive
The continual accidents on William Nicol Drive have raised concerns among the businesses along the road, one of them being Flora Clinic.

An apparent brake failure resulted in yet another truck crash on the downhill side of William Nicol Drive heading towards Flora Clinic in Florida Park this morning, Tuesday, 5 March.
This accident, which comes within three weeks of the previous truck accident on the same piece of road, resulted in damaged roadside infrastructure, including the destruction of an electricity box which was uprooted by the impact.

Fortunately, no injuries were sustained on the scene, and the occupants of the truck were able to remove the objects that were scattered in the left lane of the road as the truck tipped onto its side.
These continuous accidents on William Nicol Drive have raised concerns among some of the businesses along the road, one of them being Flora Clinic. An employee at the private hospital told the Northsider that something ought to be done before a vehicle crashes into their security wall. “Accidents on William Nicol Drive have narrowly missed the Oncology Department building twice already. One of the vehicles crashed into the palisade fence causing damage to the pipes that run nearby,” said the concerned employee, who wished to remain anonymous.
