Suspects caught with around R60 000 worth of stolen goods in their possession

Stolen goods worth about R60 000

In the early hours of Tuesday, 26 February, DMS Security apprehended a number of suspects who were on a mission to steal goods worth about R60 000.

The suspects broke into containers at the tower on Blende Avenue in Wilro Park. The items they stole included cellphone batteries and radio equipment belonging to the Roodekrans Neighbourhood Watch (RNW).

DMS Security received a tip-off from one of the surveillance companies who saw the four male suspects on the camera. They tried escaping, but two of them were arrested on the same day. The stolen goods were found in their car.

The owner of DMS Security, Wayne Shaw, stated that he was glad they could recover the goods and said they will continue working hard to keep the community safe.
