Man killed by a car in Florida
He had sustained a serious injury to his head and showed no signs of life
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed last night when he was knocked over by a bakkie at the intersection of Ontdekkers and Snell Roads in Florida.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 8.26pm and found the body of the man lying on the side of the road. The bakkie was found parked a short distance away.

“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a serious injury to his head and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead,” said Russel Meiring.
The driver of the bakkie escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations, and a case of culpable homicide has been opened.
