Man injured after falling down the stairs at the Florida railway station

He only sustained moderate injuries

A 54-year-old man was injured after the stairs of the bridge over the railway line at the Florida Station collapsed yesterday evening, 7 February.

According to Ross Campbell, the ER24 spokesperson, the man fell through and sustained moderate injuries. “Paramedics arrived on scene at about 7pm. The man was treated on site before being transported to Helen Joseph Hospital for further care,” he said.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.
