Although an exact date is yet to be set for the national and provincial elections, it will more than likely take place in May.
Regardless, time is running out fast to register for the 2019 elections. The final dates for registration are 26 and 27 January. You have to register in the area you live in. If your address information is wrong you will not be able to vote. First-time voters have to register at their local IEC offices.

If it is missing or incorrect, you should visit your local voting station on 26 or 27 January with your valid, green, bar-coded ID book, temporary ID, or smart ID card.
