This past Tuesday (2 January) during special operations duties, Roodepoort Police arrested 13 suspects.
Their ages ranged from 21 to 56. They were arrested on the following charges – contempt of court, shoplifting, assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, malicious injury to property (under the Domestic Violence Act 116 of 1998), possession of drugs, possession and use of dagga in public, housebreaking and theft.
The suspects were charged and detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
