Two pit bulls at a residence in Roodekrans made criminals think twice yesterday (1 January).
The intruders derailed the gate to the property and attempted to break the house’s front security gate. But they were surprised by the two dogs and hastily fled without stealing anything.

The incident took place on Vuurlelie Street. It was only one of various other incidents in the area during the past few days.
