Busy day for criminals in the Roodekrans/ Helderkruin/ Wilro Park areas
Residents are urged to remain vigilant.
According to Roodekrans Neighbourhood Watch (RNW) and Kruin Community Voluntary Association (KCVA) reports, yesterday (8 November) saw multiple crimes being committed in the Roodekrans/ Helderkruin/ Wilro Park areas.
• At about 1pm three men in a Ford Ranger entered a property on Chroom Avenue and pointed a firearm at the owner, who pressed the panic button. The men fled.

• At about 3.35pm there was an attempted theft out of a motor vehicle on Wistaria Street but nothing was stolen.
• At 3am there was another attempted theft out of a vehicle on Wistaria Street. An Apcan patrol car disturbed the suspects who fled in a white box-shaped BMW.
• At 2.20pm there was a break-in on Consair Close. The thugs gained entry to the property via the adjacent green belt. A bedroom window was broken to gain access to the house. They managed to escape only with a PlayStation after being surprised by vigilant Nightwatch patrollers.
