A man, age unknown, narrowly escaped serious injury when he rolled his sports utility vehicle on the bend in Impala Avenue in Helderkruin.
The incident happened at about 1.30pm on Tuesday, 30 October. According to reports the man lost control of the vehicle whilst driving in the direction of Banket Avenue. Helderkloof Neighbourhood Watch (HKNW) patrollers found the vehicle on its roof while the driver was sitting a few metres away from it with only a scratch to his leg.

The road was closed off and ER24 and Dowry Security attended the scene with HKNW.
