Parkies’ cricket team out to defend their title
They are undefeated thus far
The First XI from Florida Park High School is well on its way to defending its title as League Champions successfully this year.
According to their coach, Jocelyn Keyter, they have had a very impressive season so far. She said, “Thus far, the team is still undefeated, and they are looking forward to competing for the League trophy – which they won last year – again this year.”
Their results for the season this far, are as follows:
• They beat Hoërskool Vorentoe by 131 runs
• They beat Hoërskool Florida by 9 wickets
• They beat Hoërskool Roodepoort by 108 runs
• They beat Hoërskool Die Adelaar by 73 runs
• They beat Curro Wilgeheuwel by 96 runs
