Suspects arrested for possession of stolen Sassa cards
They had 113 cards as well as cash in their possession
The Roodepoort Police arrested three suspects (one female and two males) on the afternoon of 17 October.
According to Sergeant Juliet Mogale, the Roodepoort Police spokesperson, the suspects were arrested at the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) office in Roodepoort.

“They were found in possession of money and 113 Sassa cards, and subsequently arrested and charged with contravening the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and the possession of cards. A docket was opened and the case will be investigated,” she said.
