Get those whiskers tingling for the SPCA Cat’s Whiskers Breakfast

The SPCA is crying out for your help in raising funds for the care of its sick and injured cats.

In an attempt to raise funds in support of the sick and injured cats at the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA, the SPCA will be hosting a Cat’s Whiskers Breakfast on 11 November.

Unfortunately for the SPCA and many other animal rescue shelters, the number of sick and/ or injured animals they receive is remarkably high as their owners feel they are incapable of caring for the animals. Even more unfortunate for those who have to care for these sick and/ or injured animals, is the fact that funds often become stretched, rendering them unable to efficiently care for the animals.

It is in light of this that the SPCA has elected to host the Cat’s Whiskers Breakfast at Second Cup in Weltevreden Park on 11 November to raise funds for the care of the sick and/ or injured cats in the SPCA’s care. The breakfast will cost adults R130 each, not including drinks, so you will need to provide your own refreshments. It will also cost children R100, which includes a juice for them.

Tables are limited to eight people, and your furry friends are welcome as it is a pet-friendly venue. The breakfast starts at 8.30am, and there is limited space available, so ensure you book as soon as possible. For bookings and further enquiries about the event, feel free to contact Nicole via e-mail on fundraiser@rdptspca.co.za.
