In response to the headline of the 14 September edition, I can only say I am shocked that two perps can be released on R200 bail for the murder of a defenceless woman.
This while they might be connected to at least five other murders on women.
Is this how the government celebrates Women’s Month? No wonder 57 murders are committed daily; the government does not care.
As for the gruesome crimes reported on the front page of the 21 September edition, I can only agree with the Editor that it is sickening. The death penalty should definitely be brought back.
Or, if the government is too lame to allow that, they should just give the relatives of these victims five minutes alone with the perps.
Somebody has to explain to them what the authorities seem to have forgotten to say. All criminals, take heed:
We have had enough!
