DCF to host pensioner’s tea
Guest speakers from police and ER24 will also attend
The Discovery Community Forum invites all senior citizens to join them at their annual pensioners tea on 6 October.
The event will be held at St Laurence’s Anglican Church at the corner of Anstruther Street and Robinson Avenue, Discovery from 9am to 12 noon.
Everyone from the neighbourhood, together with their friends are welcome to join and enjoy tea, cake and listen to a safety talk by police and ER24.
Police members will also be available on the day to commission documents.
Entrance to the event is free, however booking is essential for catering purposes. For more information, contact Sue Blair on 072 441 2230 or Sue Tyson on 083 243 7778.
Those who wish to attend the event, should book no later than 1 October.
