Gymnasts from 24 Seven Gymnastics Club make their coach proud
21 gymnasts awarded Central Gauteng colours
The acro-gymnasts training at the 24 Seven Gymnastics and Trampoline Club, have made their coach very proud with their excellent achievements.

Twenty-one gymnasts were awarded with Central Gauteng colours (six junior and 15 senior) and all of them qualified to compete at the Gauteng Championships.

They are:

• Robyn Raadt (junior colours)
• Angelique Maaske (junior colours)
• JT Roux (senior colours)
• JP Roux (senior colours)
• JC Roux (senior colours)
• Cecelia Janse van Vuuren (senior colours)
• Stefan Janse van Vuuren (senior colours)
• Dorika Marais (senior colours)
• Diané Bekker (senior colours)
• Libby Bekker (senior colours)
• Louisa Groenewald (senior colours)
• Arielle Groenewald (senior colours)
• Huibrecht Groenewald (senior colours)
• Caela Truter (senior colours)
• Diané Kriek (senior colours)
• Christo van der Walt (senior colours)
• Luan van der Berg (senior colours)
• Phoenix Raadt (senior colours)
Luitha Roux, the coach at the club, said that she was very proud of all of the students’ achievements but felt that there were a few that needed a special mention.

“Three of our students – Dorika Marais, Cecelia Janse van Vuuren and JT Roux – who received their senior colours, are only six years old, which is an amazing achievement. In addition, Diané Kriek and Caela Truter not only received their senior colours, but also qualified to compete at the South African Games, which will be held in October,” Luitha said.
