Annual golf day to raise money for the shelter
The Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA will be hosting its annual Putting for the Puppies Golf Day on 1 November at the Eagle Canyon Golf Estate.
The cost of a fourball is R4 400, which includes green fees, starter kits, golf carts, halfway house lunch, dinner and a prize for every golfer.
According to Nicole Manners, the SPCA Fundraiser, companies are also welcome to sponsor a hole at R3 500. “Sponsors would be more than welcome to display banners and other marketing materials at the area they have selected, and in this way promote themselves,” Nicole said.
She added that all money raised at the event, will be used to assist the shelter in caring for all the fur babies that will be at the shelter during the festive season, which is the SPCA’s busiest time of year. “We are desperate to make the golf day even more successful than last year, especially with the Lotto no longer supporting us. Please help if you can!” Nicole said.
