Mrs Gauteng finalist wants to help others
'I was drawn to this pageant because of my passion to help people'
“I am an individual dedicated to helping others, and because of this passion, I was drawn to this pageant,” said the 40-year-old Adéle Beukes.
Adéle is a Mrs Gauteng 2018 finalist, and wants to use this platform to encourage individuals to assist the RoleModels Foundation, and she explained, “This Foundation hosts philanthropic pageants across South Africa and uses funding and donated items to intervene in impoverished communities, as they have projects that specifically target the three most vulnerable groups – abused women and children, and senior citizens”.
Her message is simple: “Girls need to know that they should never give up on their dreams and goals. Being a finalist in a pageant such as this has been my life-long dream and I know that I will reach many more of my goals and visions. Never give up and look for opportunities.”
Adéle added that she has her own foundation that strives to help people in the community by providing training and further education. They also assist families where they can. But, for them to be able to make a bigger impact on society, they need assistance from various departments.
“My biggest dream is to have my own talk show one day so that I can assist even more families with life-coaching and by sharing real-life stories with people out there. I want to create awareness and get companies to help financially to reach out to families,” she concluded.
