Winter blanket charity drive

R20 offered for every blanket donated

The Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA has teamed up with Cash Converters at Village @ Horizon to help keep the animals warm this winter by running a blanket drive. Residents are encouraged to donate their unwanted blankets – any size, any condition.

“Cash Converters at the Village @ Horizon will pay R20 for every blanket brought to their premises. All blankets will then be donated to the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA,” explained Nicole Manners, the SPCA fundraiser.

Anyone interested can drop off their unwanted blankets at Cash Converters (Shop 55, on the corner of Sonop Street and Ontdekkers Road, Horizon View).

For more information contact the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA fundraiser, Nicole Manners, on fundraiser@rdptspca.co.za or call Cash Converters on 087 820 6534.
