Woman critical after taxi accident in Newlands
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known
A woman, believed to be in her 30s, is in a critical condition after she was knocked over by a vehicle on Italian Road in Newlands, Johannesburg yesterday afternoon, 26 June.
According to ER24 spokesperson Annine Siddall, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene at about 3:50pm and found the woman lying on the pavement next to a wall.

She was immediately treated and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Three other people sustained minor injuries in the incident. They were also transported to a nearby hospital by other emergency services on scene.
