Congratulations to our Ward councillor, Gert Niemand, who is doing a wonderful job.
I would like to ask CoJ which company they have contracted out to for the grass cutting in our area?
The circles are cut on a regular basis and the curbs. However there is one area that is never ever cut and the grass is so high that it brings down the value of the properties in the surrounds.
I am referring to the grass on Simmer Street which leads up to the corner of Groom Avenue and then from Groom Avenue down the walkway to Clarendon Drive.
Perhaps the contractors have been instructed not to cut this grass because it borders Discovery Health Clinic.
Residents of Discovery need an answer as to who is responsible for keeping this area neat and tidy.
