Taxi versus bus leaves five injured

The exact details of the incident are not yet known.

Five people sustained minor to moderate injuries after a taxi and a bus collided on the corner of Maraisburg and Commando Roads in Maraisburg yesterday evening, 29 April.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene just after 6pm, some of the patients were seated on the pavement while others were walking around on the scene.

Upon further assessment, paramedics found that five of the taxi’s passengers had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The bus didn’t have any passengers, and the bus driver was uninjured. ER24, and another medical service on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.

The exact details of the incident were not known to the paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
