Young dancers qualify for Provincial finals
Juandré and his crew mates qualified for World of Dance participation
The 13-year-old Juandré Gonsalves and his crew members recently competed in the regional qualifier round of the World of Dance competition.
Juandré is part of the Legion Hip Hop Crew, which competed against a host of other crews at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Theatre. They are from the Mario Gomes Hip Hop dance studio.
The Legion Crew qualified for participation at the World of Dance Provincial Qualifier/ Finals, which will be held at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City in May.
“They worked extremely hard to achieve this goal, and it would not have been possible without the help and support of their coaches Terence, Tabang, Michael and Mario Gomes,” said Amanda Gonsalves, Juandré’s mother.
