Flower Foundation Retirement Homes invites you to join them for their annual Fundraising Golf Day on Thursday, 17 May at the Ruimsig Country Club.
The proceeds of the day will be allocated to the Flower Foundation’s Mary Patchitt Training Trust and the Benevolent Fund.
The Mary Patchitt Training Trust was established in order to raise money for training programmes for the nursing and care staff that are entrusted with caring for our residents when they can no longer care for themselves. Their staff in the Dementia care centre are specially trained by Alzheimer’s SA.
The Benevolent Fund was set up to assist residents in the care centres who are in need of financial support. In this ever-changing financial market, expenses have increased far beyond the means of many residents. “It is comforting for them to know Flower Foundation can alleviate some of the financial burden,” said Flower Foundation Retirement Homes CEO, Johan Raubenheimer.
Flower Foundation Retirement Homes is a Non-Profit Organisation caring for individuals over the age of 55. The villages comprise Independent Living, Assisted Living and Full Care Centres. They also have a specialised Dementia and Alzheimer’s unit.
Interested parties can participate by purchasing a four-ball, sponsoring a hole, donating prizes or making a donation to any of the Trusts.
