Accident leaves 12 injured
The local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
Twelve people were left injured this morning (11 April) following a collision between a taxi and light motor vehicle at the Main Reef and Westlake Road intersection in Florida.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 7.15am where they found the taxi and the light motor vehicle in the left-hand lane of the intersection. Several people had already climbed out of the taxi and were walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the victims and found that 12 people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The victims were treated for their injuries and transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.
