The Electoral Commission has made an early start to the preparations for the 2019 elections. These elections are expected between May and August 2019.
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is calling on all registered voters to visit their nearest voting stations to check and confirm their addresses during the weekend of 10 and 11 March, from 8am to 5pm.
This also an opportunity for new voters to register, and allow already registered voters who have moved since they last registered to re-register in the correct voting district. Registered voters whose address details are not on the voters’ roll can also provide this information.
Ward 71’s voting stations are: Lantern, Die Adelaar, Culembeeck, and Roodebeeck schools, and Davidsonville Recreation Centre.
Complying with this call will help the IEC to ensure an accurate and credible election.
