The occupants of two vehicles were lucky to escape with only minor injuries after their vehicles collided.
One of the drivers wished to turn from Java Street into Corlett Avenue at about 7.20am this morning (7 March) when the accident occurred. A taxi, that was illegally parked on Corlett Avenue, blocked her view. When she turned into Corlett Avenue she collided with a vehicle travelling from Randfontein Road’s direction. The driver and her daughter only sustained mild injuries and were attended to by ER24 and Johannesburg Emergency Management Services.

Metro Police and West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch regulated the traffic.
