Residents and motorists are once again warned to avoid the stretch of Albertina Sisulu Road between Wilgespruit Street and Corlett Avenue.
Protests broke out yesterday because residents of Princess informal settlement remain unhappy about the housing issues they have. Apart from burning tyres, obstructing the road and pelting motorists with rocks, they also burnt a truck. It is also said that shots were fired during the course of the night.
