Pet lovers everywhere observe annual National Love Your Pet Day on 20 February.
This day is the perfect opportunity to give your pets extra attention and pamper them, and to focus on the special relationship you have with them.
The majority of households have at least one pet, and although dogs are slightly more popular than cats, pets are not limited to the canine and feline variety. There are quite a few people who prefer the companionship of birds, reptiles, fish or rats.
