An alleged rapist, who has apparently been involved in other crimes, was arrested by Florida CPF and Florida Police at midnight on 21 January.
According to the victim, she was walking from the Mega Seven Tavern when she noticed that a man was following her. He suddenly grabbed her from behind and forced her to Florida Lake. He ordered her to bend over and proceeded to rape her, but she started screaming. Members of Florida CPF heard her screams, came to her rescue and arrested the perpetrator, who has been arrested in the past for rape and murder.

Florida Police have appealed to the public to not walk alone at night or in remote places.
“We want to thank the members of the CPF for the many sleepless nights they work to keep us safe,” said police spokesperson, Sergeant Mpho More.
