New beginnings for grade 1 learners

Grade 1 started "big school" today.

About 80 energetic kids started Grade 1 at Horizon Primary on 17 January. A few of them were in tears, but most of them were very eager to start school.

It was a big day for parents and learners as they started new a journey. Grade 1 teacher, Susan Geyer, presented a lovely puppet show about a tiger to her class to calm them.

Principal Claudia Sono was grateful that Day 1 of school went so well and happy about the wonderful support she received from her staff and the school governing body.
