This past Friday, 1 December, at about 11am a member of Florida CPF received a call about a “kidnapping” in progress.
Realising the scene was close to his workplace, he and his employer rushed to where bystanders told them that they had heard screams coming from a speeding courier van driving by. Members of the community and the CPF searched for the courier van and found it in Rail Street.

The driver, who was locked in the back of the van, said he was hijacked and that all the goods had been taken before the thieves fled in a red VW Vivo.
The driver was unharmed during the incident.
