Firstly may God richly bless Zelda Fourie for trying to protect pigeons in Horizon View. Secondly I am disgusted and appalled at the receptionist at a local vet who told the miscreant, “It’s okay, you can shoot pigeons”.
I hope that that receptionist gets fired because she/ he is an absolute disgrace to the profession aimed at saving animals, among them pigeons.
Finally thank you to the SPCA for enforcing the law about guns (Firearms Control Act 60 of 2002) in public, which the Roodepoort Police are loath to do. Hope that miscreant goes to jail.
