I don’t feel safe with them around

Anonymous from Discovery writes:

To the company, Vumatel that has received a multi-million rand contract – I have the following questions:

1. Have they verified the crime-free records of the people they have employed to do the digging?

2. Why are they not feeding and giving water to their staff?

I understand that there are people in South Africa that need to work. However, my experience with these workers has not been pleasant. They approach my car asking for food. They have approached a friend up the road requesting water.

These men are rough. They are checking out the neighbourhood and will be back committing robberies and home invasions once this work has been completed.

I spoke to one of their supervisors today and asked if they had taken photographs of their employees which I am sure police will require at a later stage.

I am not over-reacting as I was robbed on my driveway last year.
