Two doctors appeared briefly in the Roodepoort Regional Court yesterday morning in connection with the passing of a child patient.
The child allegedly passed away after an operation.

The case has been postponed until 6 February for state disclosure – in other words for the dossier content to be disclosed and possibly to respond to requests for more detailed information. It is uncertain what the State’s charge is/ will be but it is suspected that it will be culpable homicide.
The two doctors are out on a warning.
