National A’Phabet Day

Avoid the letter L on #A’PhabetDay

25 December is the annual celebration of A’Phabet Day or No ‘L’ Day.

This day was created as a pun on the word Noel, and everyone is encouraged to avoid using the letter L.

Celebrating today is very easy – just avoid using the letter L in all correspondence. The fun thing of this celebration is to see if anyone catches on to the pun.

Try using words that require an L and see how many people you can catch out by deliberately leaving it out.

Use #A’phabetDay or #No’L’Day to post on social media.
