Man dies after falling down hill in Kloofendal
Cause of incident unknown
A man died after falling down a hill in Kloofendal last night (18 October).
According to Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson, when ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene, members from another medical service, the mountain Search and Rescue team as well as the K9 squad were already in attendance.
“Upon assessment, the man was found to still be alive and ER24, along with another service, tried to resuscitate him. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead on the scene,” Van Huyssteen said.

Local authorities were on scene and further investigations will be done to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
