Over the past weekend while the Roodepoort Police were performing their special stop-and-search operations and raids, they arrested 41 suspects.

The suspects, aged between 25 and 53, were arrested for various crimes – business burglary, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH), armed robbery, possession of dagga, murder, drunken driving, common assault (domestic violence), malicious damage to property and intimidation.
The suspects were charged and detained at Roodepoort Police Station and will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
