Video footage of horror accident with alleged intoxicated driver surfaces
The driver seems not to be making any attempt to stop at the stop sign.
According to the driver who survived the accident in which his friend of 10 years was killed, the driver of the other vehicle tested 0,338 on the breathalyser.
The 26-year-old and the deceased, 25, returned from the Sasol service station on the corner of Progress and Prosperity Roads after withdrawing money. They were on their way to his home when the collision occurred on the corner of Prosperity Road and Chauser Avenue.

In the CCTV footage supplied by Spartan Security, the driver of the Nissan bakkie seems not to be making any attempt to stop at the stop sign. He comes speeding down Prosperity Road towards the intersection with Chauser Avenue where he T-bones the VW Golf.
