Play poker for charity
All funds raised will be used for those in need
The Florida 21 Roundtable is calling all poker players to join them and put their skills to use for a good cause.
They will be hosting a charity poker evening on 29 September in the upstairs pub at the Rusty Hook, 22 Wilge Street, Wilgespruit, from 8pm.
Costs to take part in the evenings activities will be as follows:
• Buy in – R200
• Re-buy – R200
• Add on – R200
According to Joe Heckler there will be no cash prizes, as that is illegal. “We will however, have various prizes up for grabs for first place, second place and so on. All money raised during this event will be used for the various families we support,” he said.
