Cross-country athlete in top 10
Dawnè Williams finished in the top ten in the latest cross-country competition.
Dawnè Williams recently represented Discovery Primary Full Service School in a cross-country competition. The competition was held at Weltevreden Park Primary School, and Dawnè was up against learners from various West Rand schools.
“The competition was tiring but fun. I started running when I was eight years old and joined the cross country team in Grade 4. I love to run,” said Dawnè.
She finished the competition in 10th place out of more than 100 runners.
