Update: Reward increased for puppy’s safe return
"I just really want my baby back,"
It has been a week since a Lindhaven’s family four-month-old pit bull puppy has been stolen from their home, without any word on its whereabouts.
According to Bonnette Glendon, they have not received any news on Bliksem, who was reportedly taken at approximately 4pm on 18 July.

Initially, a reward of R1 000 was offered for his safe return, but according to Bonnette, they are increasing the reward to R5 000. “I just really want my baby back,” she said. Bliksem needs to be found urgently, as he is on chronic medication for allergies. “His eyes become swollen to the extent that he cannot see and he breaks out in hives,” she said in tears.
