Triple G has finally released his long-awaited debut music video. The 26-year-old has released the video promoting the song Squad Goals, and features Essence. The hip-hop musician, who studied sound engineering, experienced mixed emotions as the music video loaded on YouTube.

“This was supposed to be released earlier in the day, but people have been texting and cannot wait. To be honest, I am excited and curious as to how people will respond to it. What I have learned is to stay humble, down to earth but also crazy when it’s needed,” he said.
Triple G was influenced to become involved in music at a young age. He looked up to his father, who was a drummer, and decided to follow in his footsteps.
He learned to produce music in 2004, but a failed relationship, which left him heartbroken, was the catalyst that led him to write more songs.
“Then two years later I started recording songs for myself. Given my passion for music, I decided to study sound engineering.”
Now a full-time musician after completing his studies, Triple G has been working hard and honing his craft, with the intention of becoming a top musician. He has performed in areas such as North West, Hillbrow, Maboneng, Vaal, Newton and Norwood to spread his name. His friend and fellow-producer, musician and DJ, Greenfingures, wants the team of musicians to be trendsetters in the country.
