This past weekend, from Friday to Sunday (23 June to 25 June) Roodepoort Police arrested 50 suspects.

The suspects, aged between 23 and 56, were arrested for various cases – assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, fraud, malicious damage to property, illegal immigrant, theft, pointing of firearm, possession of drugs, possession of dagga, housebreaking and theft, shoplifting, drunken driving, contravention of the Liquor Act, drunken driving, public drinking and crossing the railway line.

The suspects were charged and detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
