Local boys in Southern Gauteng hockey squad
Five boys from Maragon Private Schools’ hockey team have made it into the Southern Gauteng teams.
The players had to go through rigorous training rounds in the D12 and D2 district tournaments to catch the eye of the selectors. Jarryd Young will be part of the U/14A team and Cameron Day will be in the U/14B team. Cameron Funnell will play for the U/16Bs while Cullin de Jager and Emmanuel Motswiri will be part of the U/17A team.
