Submit your meter readings easily
It is now easier than ever to submit your meter readings
If you have a smartphone and access to the internet, you can now submit your City Power meter readings easily and conveniently.
City Power has made the following options available on your smartphone, to make it easier for residents to submit their readings anytime, anywhere.
To use the web portal, you will first need to register by visiting www.munispace.co.za/citypower. After you completed the registration process, you will be able to login with your smartphone’s Chrome browser to submit your meter reading.
A WhatsApp group has also been created for customers to use. Send a a photo of your meter, together with your account number and address to 081 512 9025. The group can also be used for any questions regarding when meter reading will take place.
Submission can also be done via e-mail, using meterreading@umec.co.za. When you use this method, you need to add some vital information, including your account number and address, as well as attaching photos in which your meter number and reading are visible.
