It is with sadness that I read a letter in the latest Roodepoort Record from a reader who thinks that lack of action might cost voters.
How is it possible to fix 22 years of non-maintenance in such a short space of time and I might add with no money?The billing system has been an absolute disaster and as such needs to be sorted out so that money can be collected correctly.
Potholes are being fixed daily, but again with no money this is only a temporary measure. There are many roads that need to be completely re-done. In particular, I think of the top of Crous Drive under the bridge and into Westgate.
Please readers, give the DA time to sort out the mess that was left to them. Rome was not built in one day.
